Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is an advanced screening tool used to assess mineral imbalances and toxicities in the body.  A small hair sample is sent to a reputable and sophisticated laboratory and screened for a total of 38 minerals.  These include 23 nutritional minerals and trace elements such as calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and iodine, as well as 15 toxic heavy metals such as mercury, lead and aluminum.  HTMA is more effective than any other diagnostic technique, other than a tissue biopsy, for determining such imbalances.
